In 2020, I served as creative director and co-conceiver of David Blaine’s live event Ascension. In the lead up, YouTube asked us to revive his dormant personal channel. I wrote and edited the first release, a career recap narrated by Woody Harrelson and scored by J Ralph, which became the channel’s most watched video within 24 hours and launched a two month content run that I oversaw, tripling subscribers from just over half a million to more than 1.5 million and driving over 100 million views.
